Biography, according to Government Administration

"Irakli Karseladze has been managing the MRDI since February 22, 2021.

His work experience counts 22 years and ranges from research to top management positions in the non-government, public and private sectors, at multi-national and local companies.

He has a background in managing large infrastructure projects, logistics, public and international procurements, international financial disputes, large public project administration.

From April 2018 till present he has served as a First Deputy Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia (MRDI) and Chairman of the Roads Department.

He was a Deputy Head of the Government Administration from 2012.

In the capacity of the First Deputy Minister of MRDI and Chairman of the Roads Department, he also served as an Executive Director of the Tourism Development Fund of Georgia and its daughter companies. Also, he served as an Advisory Board Chairman at the Co-Investment Fund of Georgia.

He graduated from Tbilisi State University (TSU) named after Ivane Javakhishvili, specializing in International Economic Relations.

His foreign language skills cover English, German and Russian.

Irakli Karseladze was born on 28th February 1978 in Kutaisi, Georgia.

Is married and has five children."
