Lasha Gogniashvili appointed as director of Tbilisi Police Department

Colonel of Police Lasha Gogniashvili has been appointed as the Director of the Tbilisi Police Department.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs confirmed this information to Interpressnews.

Until now, Lasha Gogniashvili held the position of Director of the Guria Police Department.

He replaced Sulkhan Tamazashvili as Director of the Tbilisi Police Department. Tamazashvili has been nominated for the position of Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara.
