In Batumi, at Hilton Hotel, where the Speaker of the Parliament Shalva Papuashvili is meeting with media representatives working in West Georgia, some journalists arrived with banners. More specifically, the representatives of the media brought posters with the inscription: "No to the Russian law", thus they registered their protest regarding the draft law "On the transparency of foreign influence".

They addressed Shalva Papuashvili with questions, and later left the press conference hall as a sign of protest.

On the other hand, Shalva Papuashvili said that some of the journalists have not read the presented bill. The said statement was met with dissatisfaction and protest responses from media representatives.
