Mamuka Mdinaradze, the leader of the parliamentary majority, discussed with journalists the fact that the Latvian Embassy stripped MP Beka Odisharia of the title of honorary consul.

According to him, "this is another measure of pressure on the Georgian MP".

"Latvia's official structure thus exerted preventive pressure on the Georgian MP. It was an obvious attempt to interfere in the internal affairs of Georgia, an attempt to determine the actions of Beka Odisharia and other MPs, so that they cannot make an independent decision, but make decisions under international pressure," said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
