Giorgi Vashadze: It was the hardest thing to listen to the discussion in the European Parliament, to listen to the statements that visa-free travel, candidate status may be revised, that sanctions may be considered

I appeal to the deputies of Georgian Dream - put the motherland above Bidzina Ivanishvili's task, put the motherland and our country first, and not take some position due to stubbornness, - the leader of Strategy-Builder Giorgi Vashadze said while talking about the discussion held in the European Parliament on April 23.

According to Giorgi Vashadze, the victory will be when the “transparency” bill, which in his estimation is "Russian", is left behind and the country continues to strive for European integration.

"It was the hardest thing to listen to the discussion held in the European Parliament regarding Georgia. Unfortunately, Bidzina Ivanishvili harms Georgia more and more every day. We are the victims of the worst policy they [Georgian Dream] have. With the Russian law, Georgia cannot have a place in the European Union. It was even harder to listen to the statements that visa-free travel, candidate status may be revised, that sanctions may be imposed. I appeal to the deputies of Georgian Dream - put the motherland above Bidzina Ivanishvili's task, put the motherland and our country first, and not take some position due to stubbornness. Today is a decisive moment – either Georgia will continue to strive towards the European Union, or enter a deadlock, which can determine our fate for 10 years”, said Vashadze.
