There is noise in front of the Rustavi Municipality City Hall and City Council building. Members of Georgian Dream, including Rustavi Mayor Nino Latsabidze, and members of Gakharia For Georgia verbally confronted each other.

The representatives of the opposition party appealed to the Mayor of Rustavi that Georgian Dream impeached the Chairman of the Council together with members of the National Movement.

“Are you organizing the impeachment of the chairman of the Sakrebulo together with the members of the National Movement now, Nino? Answer me, you don't have enough votes without them”, - MP of the Gakharia party Ana Buchukuri addressed to the Mayor of Rustavi, Nino Latsabidze.

"The time of your idleness is over, the chairman has resigned," the Mayor of Rustavi told the members of the Gakharia For Georgia party.

As reported by Georgian Dream, 18 members of the City Council supported the dismissal of the Chairman of the Rustavi City Council Nodar Sherozia.

In the published statement, the Georgian Dream faction notes that the composition of the City Council of Rustavi Municipality failed to fulfill its duties properly for more than two years.
