Lelo Secretary General released from courtroom

Lelo Secretary General Irakli Kupradze was released from the courtroom.

As he told journalists after his release, he does not remember such a brutal crackdown, despite the fact that he attended rallies before and after 2012.

According to Irakli Kupradze, the crackdown was the heaviest crime committed by Georgian Dream on the orders of Bidzina Ivanishvili.

"Those people who stood by the Parliament of Georgia these days and defended the national interests of the country cannot be intimidated. I don't remember a crackdown of such cruelty - a person who has been standing at rallies before and after 2012. It was a brutal crackdown, I went to save a person who was being beaten and was arrested for no reason. Cruel treatment, beating, punching in the face - this was the heaviest crime committed by Georgian Dream on the instructions of Bidzina Ivanishvili. This is an attack on Georgia's pro-European course. My comrades and I will serve the interests of the population of Georgia. Georgian Dream serves Russia and until it is not changed, there will be a constant struggle for our country", said Irakli Kupradze.

For information, Irakli Kupradze was arrested by the police along with other protesters during the rally, where they were protesting the law "On transparency of foreign influence".
