The draft law "on transparency of foreign influence" does not reflect the standards of the European Union and could compromise Georgia's EU path, - this is how the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands, Hanke Bruins Slot, responds to the adoption of the draft law "On transparency of foreign influence" by the Parliament of Georgia in first reading.

“I am concerned by the adoption of the draft law on 'transparency of foreign influence' in a first hearing by the Georgian parliament. It could impede crucial work of civil society and media. This law does not reflect EU standards and could compromise Georgia’s EU path”, she tweeted.
