“The arrival of the members of “the Public party” has been initiated by Saakashvili and his team due to the fact that, in the pre-election period, they are in desperate need of receiving support. By the way, the manner in which the European parliamentarians behave is nothing but the manifestation of unspeakable cynicism - these people printed letters in the past and they are also promulgating them now as if they have not heard what has happened in Georgia. They seem to be utterly deaf and blind. Myriads of materials - disgracefully preaching that the “National Movement” is the only party frantically protecting the national interests of our country - written by them are being spread now”, states the former MP, Petre Mamradze, in his interview with the paper “Alia”.
“Saakashvili is repeating like a parrot that Putin granted two billion to Ivanishvili to assist him in demoting Saakashvili’s regime. They want this version to be distributed throughout Europe. They also allege that each imprisonment that has taken place in Georgia was of political nature. They want Europe to define them as idealists. To any kind of question they have a ready response according to which they knew only one thing - in order to protect his country’s interests, Saakashvili even dared to announce a war with Russia. These people said these words to me when they had published the first letter to which Ivanishvili responded. From the very beginning, I asserted unabashedly that answering this letter was a crude mistake”, declares Mamradze.

When Bryza came here, he stated that only two or three men have been left in the department who remember Georgia; As for Saakashvili and his team members, they do not spare efforts to show the world that during their rule, democracy simply flourished in the country. They disgracefully assert that, unlike the present government, despite some deviations, they pursed the right policy; you yourself will see perfectly well, what a demagogic speech Saakashvili will give when he takes the floor in UNO’, concludes the respondent.
