Political forces behind false reports?!
Agents give notifications to pseudo-terrorists - Kakha Kakhishvili
“Lately, almost every single day, the Emergency Situation Management Center has received false bomb reports. As a rule, law enforcers have solved the case in several hours and established that the repot is false. Pseudo terrorists have turned out to be juveniles in most cases. Since September 12, TV Companies “Rustavi 2”, “Imedi”, airports, banks, Parliament building have evacuated their employees several times. “Maestro” joined the rank of these companies yesterday. A criminal case on the charge of spreading false bomb reports has been instituted against the offenders. In order to prevent re-offending, the legislative body raised the matter of stiffening the relative law. The law now envisages 5-7 year imprisonment for criminals perpetrating this kind of crime”, reports the paper “Kvela Siakhle”
“When I see that one and the same criminal activity is repeated several times, as a specialist in the sphere, I suspect that a crime is organized and deliberately planned beforehand. This kind of wrongdoing is not listed in the rank of grave or extremely grave offenses. As an added bonus, they have been mainly perpetrated by teenagers as, according to the acting legislation, underage offenders are not sentenced for this. Sending such false reports may even be remunerative for them. Finding real criminals will be extremely troublesome, however, our Press service is obliged to ‘undo this tangle’ and solve the complicated case’, states lawyer Kakha Kakhishvili in his interview with a correspondent of the paper.“If we judge logically, such kind of wrongdoings must be playing into the hands of those people who receive certain political pidends from it. In this case, these crimes serve the interests of the “National Movement”, the leader of which claim that chaos and disorder reign in the country; a tense atmosphere is beneficial for them in the pre-election period. I think, MIA is obliged to be involved in the case as the desire of committing this kind of offenses must be once and for all curbed”, declares the respondent.
“Political forces of vast experience, people who know everything about MIA and its capabilities, must be standing behind all this. These people have been handling the system for years, and due to this, MIA may find it difficult to solve the case. However, measure against such crimes must be definitely taken; the age limit should also be observed; as to juveniles, parents must be imposed with responsibility to pay for their offspring’s unlawful acts. Parliament must also stipulate a law which will deter criminals; otherwise the tense situation may even more escalate in the country,” concludes Kakha Kakhishvili.
