Otar Romanov-Partskhaladze on Bidzina Ivanishvili: "I no longer have any relationship with him. He is a patriot who has done a great deal for Georgia—for instance, the very fact that Georgia today has not been left in ruins like Ukraine is something for which the nation should thank Bidzina Ivanishvili"

"Bidzina Ivanishvili is a patriot who has done a great deal for Georgia; the nation should thank him—if only for the fact that Georgia today has not been left in ruins like Ukraine," stated former Prosecutor General Otar Romanov-Partskhaladze.

According to him, he "no longer has any relationship" with Ivanishvili "under the current circumstances."

"In the current situation, I have no relationship [with him] whatsoever. As for Mr. Bidzina, I would say that he is a patriot and has done a great deal for Georgia. The Georgian nation should thank Bidzina Ivanishvili for the fact that Georgia is not currently in the same devastated state as Ukraine—that we are not in the same situation as Ukraine. Beyond that, much else has been accomplished. Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili has stepped in during a very difficult period, and I wish him nothing but success," stated Partskhaladze.
