Two brothers have been killed in the village of Lambalo, in Sagarejo Municipality. The incident occurred several hours ago.

Three brothers were shot with a firearm. Two died at the scene, while the third managed to escape and survive.

According to local residents, the brothers had been living in Russia for several years and had recently returned to their village.

According to preliminary reports, the incident occurred while the brothers were on their way to a relative’s wedding. A fellow villager allegedly ambushed them and opened fire. Two men died from their injuries.

The exact motive for the killings remains unknown. However, revenge and a previous conflict are being considered as possible motives.

According to unofficial reports, police arrested the suspect shortly after the incident. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has not yet commented on the case.
