Levan Khabeishvili: Ivanishvili’s puppets arrogantly ask, “Who is being imprisoned for expressing a different opinion?” I, for example, am in prison for my words - They do not accuse me of any action, activity, or even the violent acts they fabricate - They accuse me of speaking

“Their own former prime minister accuses them of involvement in murders, so how dare they even speak?! Who shot Rizhvadze? Who tried to kill him? Who was held accountable? And if he was not shot, then who was blackmailing him? Are there any answers at all? Who takes responsibility for the slaughterhouses they are turning prisons into, bringing in people from ‘outside’ who have been arranged with them to beat prisoners?” Levan Khabeishvili, one of the leaders of the United National Movement, writes in a letter sent from prison.
In his statement, Khabeishvili responds to assessments by representatives of Georgian Dream regarding the European Commission’s report, which addresses the issue of unlawful imprisonment.
“I am the latest among those illegally imprisoned by the regime, but...
Today, Ivanishvili’s puppets arrogantly ask: ‘Who is being imprisoned for expressing a different opinion?’
Well, I, for example, am in prison for my words! They do not accuse me of any action or activity, or even of the violent acts they fabricate! They accuse me of speaking! I said on television that Ivanishvili’s regime must come to an end, and for that alone, I was sentenced to almost three years (!) in prison! They are not accusing me of a single action – I emphasize, not a single action! Only speaking!!!
The British are wrong, the Germans have misunderstood, France is lying, Poland is bad, America is spreading lies – the entire world is lying, and only Ivanishvili, Kobakhidze, and Papuashvili are telling the truth! There is not a single person on Earth who shares their views!
‘Sania is promoting obscenity,’ says the patron of Kavelashvili and Samkharadze... Gorduladze and Georgian Dream MPs are not violent, yet they collectively attacked a member of Gakharia’s party, while Amaghlobeli is the one being portrayed as the culprit?!
Nearly 500 people have been tortured, and who has been punished?!
Their own former prime minister accuses them of involvement in murders, so how dare they even speak?!
Who shot Rizhvadze?! Who tried to kill him?! Who was punished?! And if he was not shot, then who was blackmailing him?!
Are there any answers?!
Who takes responsibility for the slaughterhouses they are turning prisons into, bringing in people from ‘outside’ who have been arranged with them to beat prisoners?!
I have never seen anything so shameless and spineless!” Levan Khabeishvili writes.
