DataFest Tbilisi to Celebrate Its 10th Anniversary on November 26-28

DataFest Tbilisi, the largest data festival in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. The milestone edition will take place on November 26-28 at Pullman Tbilisi Axis Towers in Tbilisi, bringing together more than 1,200 participants.
DataFest Tbilisi 2026 will unite professionals from technology, business, science, media, and the creative industries. This year’s edition will explore all its topics through the Past, Present, Future lens, exploring the evolution of the data field, current challenges, and future predictions.
Artificial intelligence will have a prominent place in the festival program, with a focus on its practical applications, its impact on business and society, ethical AI, and creative technologies.
Over three days, participants will have the opportunity to attend inspiring talks, panel discussions, and hands-on workshops; take part in labs, datathons, and hackathons; and discover innovative products from startups and businesses.
“Over the past decade, our community has grown significantly, both in size and professional expertise. While we relied largely on international experts at our first festival, today the majority of our speakers are local professionals, and we are especially proud of this change,” - says Nino Macharashvili, founder and team lead of DataFest Tbilisi.
The program will cover four main tracks:
- Society - human rights, surveillance and privacy, ethical AI, media, gender, technology, and society.
- Business and Startups - the use of AI and data, fintech, telecommunications, business transformation, and entrepreneurship.
- Technology - new tools, frameworks, models, infrastructure, and technological innovations.
- Design, Art, and Communications - data visualization, creative AI, storytelling, and the future of creative work.
The anniversary edition will introduce two new initiatives. Following the success of the children’s program launched last year, the festival will, for the first time, offer a dedicated program for seniors, providing hands-on opportunities to build practical experience with technology.
The festival will also introduce the Decade Impact Awards, recognizing significant contributions to the development of the data ecosystem across the region over the past ten years.
Since its founding in 2017, DataFest Tbilisi has welcomed more than 6,000 participants from 80 countries. The festival has featured over 500 speakers and trainers from 45 countries and hosted more than 500 inspiring talks and practical sessions. In addition, more than 40 community meetups have been organized throughout the year.
