Ana Tsitlidze to judges: "I am not asking you to reject the lawsuit. History has never been uniform—we have had both Antsukhelidze and Sergo Orjonikidze; we have had both Ilia and the Berbichashvilis - which path you choose is for you to decide"

"I am not asking you to reject this lawsuit. The history of Georgia has never been uniform—we have had both Antsukhelidze and Sergo Orjonikidze; we have had both Ilia and the Berbichashvilis. Which path you choose is for you to decide," Ana Tsitlidze, a representative of the National Movement, stated while addressing the judges of the Constitutional Court.
According to her, systemic crimes cannot be part of the National Movement's DNA.
"Systemic crimes cannot be the DNA of the National Movement. The DNA of the National Movement consists of nine years of nation-building—a struggle for freedom, justice, and the country's European future. I am not asking you to reject this lawsuit. The history of Georgia has never been uniform—we have had both Antsukhelidze and Sergo Orjonikidze, both Ilia and the Berbichashvilis; which path you choose is for you to decide," stated Ana Tsitlidze.
