Ramaz Tatarashvili has been appointed as the new head of the Special Penitentiary Service. The Ministry of Justice confirmed this information to InterpressNews.

Earlier, it became known that Giorgi Pataridze had left the post of Head of the Penitentiary Service.

As a reminder, news broke this morning that the Prosecutor's Office recommended to the Minister of Justice the suspension of authority for Giorgi Pataridze, Director General of the Special Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
