Participants in rally organized by opposition parties marching from TSU first building

Representatives of opposition parties and civil society are holding a march. They initially gathered in the yard of Tbilisi State University, from where they are now marching toward Rustaveli Avenue.

The rally is organized by the Opposition Alliance.

According to opposition politicians, today's rally is a response to "the current situation in the country—the dismantling of democracy."

"This rally marks the beginning of a new wave; in my view—and that of many others—this wave is called 'Georgia without Ivanishvili,'" stated Nika Gvaramia, leader of the Coalition for Change.

"Glory to Georgia!" and "Long live a united, national, and independent Georgia!" the participants are chanting.

The slogan of the rally is: "Georgia without Ivanishvili; the Georgian people deserve better."
