Nana Sander, convicted in connection with the October 4th case, applies to Prosecutor's Office regarding a plea agreement

Nana Sander, who was convicted in relation to the events of October 4th, has reached out to the Prosecutor's Office to propose a plea agreement. This was announced at the Tbilisi Court of Appeals by the defendant’s lawyer, Goga Bogveradze.
According to the lawyer, an agreement has been reached with the prosecution for Nana Sander to be released from the penitentiary institution via a plea bargain. The lawyer stated that Nana Sander admits to and expresses remorse for both acts with which she has been charged.
"Yes, I admit my guilt. I agree with everything my lawyer has said. I consent to a plea agreement based on a term of one year and one month," Nana Sander stated during the court hearing.
The prosecution has confirmed its willingness to enter into a plea agreement; however, the prosecutor noted that specific formal procedures must be completed before the terms of the defendant's release can be finalized. As for the other individuals convicted in the same case: Abo Naveriani has refused to enter into a plea agreement, as he maintains that his imprisonment is unlawful. Anton Uperi is currently wanted, while Mariam Mekantsishvili has been sentenced to pay a fine.
In total, there were 12 defendants involved in this episode. Eight of them—Aleksandre Khabeishvili, Beka Kelekhsashvili, Giorgi Mumladze, Mamuka Labuchidze, Guriel Kardava, Avtandil Surmanidze, and Vakhtang Fitskhelauri—concluded plea agreements, receiving three-year suspended sentences. They admitted their guilt.
