Nikoloz Samkharadze: Dialogue with the EU could resume as early as next week if European bureaucrats have the political will, but they do not want open and transparent dialogue

“If there is political will on the part of European bureaucrats, dialogue with the European Union can easily resume — as early as next week. What we are talking about is that certain European bureaucrats and politicians from certain countries do not want to engage in open and transparent dialogue with Georgia,” Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations, said today.
“This is exactly what we are asking for — if they truly consider Georgia a future member of the European Union, then they should have dialogue with the government elected by the Georgian people,” Nikoloz Samkharadze said.
