Protest rally resumes at Parliament – Demonstrators block Rustaveli Avenue

The protest rally in front of the Parliament has resumed. Participants have blocked Rustaveli Avenue.

Protesters are chanting: “Fire to Oligarchy!”

The demonstrations in front of the legislative body have now continued for 174 days.

Those gathered at Parliament will be joined by other demonstrators currently assembled in front of the Public Broadcaster.

The protesters’ demands remain unchanged: the announcement of new elections and the release of those detained during the rallies.
