Protesters clash with police on Leonidze Street

Citizens gathered near the Parliament building are holding a march. They have moved to Leonidze Street and tried to block the road, but the police did not allow them to do so.

The police called on the participants in the demonstration to vacate the area.

There was a confrontation between law enforcement officers and the participants of in demonstration at the scene.

Shouts of “slave”, “slave” were heard.

During the confrontation, law enforcement officers put one of the participants of the demonstration in a patrol police car and took him away.

Also, the participants of the protest march tried to block the pedestrian crossing, which resulted in clashes with the police.

Law enforcement officers are currently mobilized on Freedom Square.
