March underway from Tbilisi State University 1st building to Rustaveli Avenue

A march is underway from the first building of Tbilisi State University to Rustaveli Avenue.

The march is being joined by students, professors, family members of citizens detained during the protests, and civil activists.

As the protesters say, on the Mother Language Day, they intend to walk the historical route that students and professors took on April 14, 1978, from the first building of TSU to the Parliament.

The protesters have brought banners with various contents: “Victory is in us, strength is in the students”; “United Georgia is not afraid of the monster”; “Strength is in the unity of students”.

The protesters will join the rally ongoing near the Parliament.
