Vasili Maghlaperidze re-elected as Chairman of the Public Broadcaster's Supervisory Board

Vasili Maghlaperidze has been re-elected as the Chairman of the Public Broadcaster's Supervisory Board. According to the results of the vote, 8 members supported Maghlaperidze for the position, while 3 were opposed.

"I am not withdrawing my candidacy. On the contrary, I express my respect for my colleagues by doing so. I will also vote for myself," Maghlaperidze said.

For reference, according to the amendment made to the "Broadcasting Law" in 2023, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board is now elected for a term of 6 years.
