Intermittent rain and thunderstorms, in some areas heavy, are expected across Georgia from the afternoon of April 2 until the end of April 3, with the possibility of strong winds.
This information was released by the National Environment Agency.
According to their report, the expected rainfall may cause a significant rise in water levels in rivers and lead to flash floods in smaller rivers.
"In the mountainous regions of the country, avalanche formation is possible, while in hilly and mountainous zones, landslide and mudflow processes may be triggered or intensified (risk level: moderate)," the statement reads.
