Activist Temur Katamadze has started a hunger strike again

Activist Temur Katamadze has once again started a hunger strike. He announced this in a letter, which has been shared by the “Young Lawyers’ Association.”

According to Katamadze's letter, he declared the hunger strike today, April 1.

For context, activist Temur Katamadze is currently in detention. He was initially arrested in Batumi by the police under administrative procedures. However, after being released from custody, he was arrested again. During his second arrest, the police accused him of lacking legal residency status in Georgia.
