Mamuka Mdinaradze: The state is doing its best to reach every person - speculations are not ceasing, even the death of a 106-year-old woman is being attributed to the natural disaster

The state, beyond the limits of its capabilities, is doing everything it can to reach every person - speculations are not ceasing, even the death of a 106-year-old woman is being attributed to the natural disaster. They should at least stop for a while, the situation is already difficult, - the leader of the parliamentary majority, Mamuka Mdinaradze, said when speaking about the problems caused by heavy snowfall in western Georgia.
According to him, the relevant services are trying to clean up roads in villages and help the population.
According to Mdinaradze, part of the defense forces has already been involved in rescue operations, and part is heading to the scene.
“The state, beyond the limits of its capabilities, is doing everything it can to reach every person and every family and somehow alleviate the problems caused by the natural disaster. The maximum is being done. All city services are involved. In the West, there are practically no people in state institutions, everyone has gone to the villages, cities, helping the population as much as possible. Also, in accordance with the Prime Minister's order, the defense forces have already been involved. A large part of them is already on site, some are heading and entering each family, wherever possible. Sadly, there is a very place where even heavy equipment have difficulty approaching. We have several villages, several families from which there are some problems and alarm signals. Up to this moment, we are trying to approach with heavy equipment, with off-road vehicles, and this is practically impossible, although roads are being cleaned up.
It is also very bad that speculation does not stop. Yesterday we lost one person whose death was directly related to the natural disaster, although false information is being spread about other persons. I can tell you one miracle right here - in Lanchkhuti, in the village of Ninoshvili, a 106-year-old woman died and they wrote about it that it was an extreme situation and they couldn't reach her and she died due to the natural disaster. They should at least stop for a while so as not to create unnecessary panic, the situation is already difficult. The state is doing everything that is theoretically possible, while they are panicking people. Imagine the degree of harm,” said Mdinaradze.
