Protest rally resumes near Parliament – Rustaveli Avenue is blocked

The protest rally near the Parliament has resumed, with demonstrators blocking Rustaveli Avenue.

A group of protesters initially gathered at the Philharmonic Hall for the "Paata Burchuladze Jubilee March" and then moved towards Rustaveli Avenue in a procession.

The demonstrators are chanting slogans such as: "We won't stop, schedule elections," "Free the regime's prisoners," "Fire to oligarchy," and "No justice, no peace."

Protesters have brought various banners, as well as Georgian and EU flags.

On the 77th day of the protest, demonstrators have once again gathered outside the legislative body with unchanged demands—the scheduling of new elections and the release of individuals detained during the protests.
