Several people arrested at rally near police building in Temka

The police arrested several people at a protest rally in Temka, near a police building. The glass of the police building was shattered during clashes.
According to the protesters, they came to the scene to protest the actions of the police, thereby expressing disobedience to the authorities and solidarity with the detainees. The protesters wore masks, during which a confrontation occurred between them and the police.
“People were arrested with the use of force. They have no right to arrest people for wearing masks. This should have led to a fine, not an arrest. We did not come here for violence, we came to express our protest and disobedience. They abused us, they made my friend break the glass with his head.
We were standing here, we were addressing them, they came and started abusing us, they forcibly took 6 people away,” said one of the protesters.
According to the Deputy Head of the Main Division of the Patrol Police Department, Goga Memanishvili, the number of detainees is being established.
“ I don’t know the exact number of detainees, I will tell you later,” Goga Memanishvili told reporters.
