Protests continue on Rustaveli Avenue as demonstrators block traffic

Protests on Rustaveli Avenue are ongoing, with demonstrators blocking vehicle traffic. Earlier, police officers stationed on the avenue had prevented citizens from blocking the roadway, stating that the number of participants in the protest was insufficient to justify closing the street.

Despite this, protesters eventually blocked the road. Police informed them that they would be fined 5,000 GEL for obstructing traffic, and the fines would be delivered to their homes the following day.

Law enforcement continues to urge protesters to leave the roadway. Meanwhile, the demonstrators are chanting: "Police everywhere, justice nowhere!"
