Mzia Amaghlobeli: The charges against me are the result of repressive, hostile, and hate-fueled processes targeting human and free speech rights

Mzia Amaghlobeli, co-founder and director of "Netgazeti" and "Batumelebi," has released a letter from prison.

In her statement, Mzia Amaghlobeli explains that the incident and the charges against her are the outcomes of repressive, hostile, and hate-driven processes aimed at suppressing human rights and freedom of expression.

"The incident and the charges against me are the result of repressive, hostile, and hate-fueled processes targeting human and free speech rights. These are processes that have been unfolding over the past year and are infiltrating our daily lives as a form of dictatorship," writes Mzia Amaghlobeli, as shared by "Netgazeti."

For context, the Batumi City Court imposed pretrial detention on Mzia Amaghlobeli, the founder of "Batumelebi" and "Netgazeti." The decision was made by Judge Nino Sakhelashvili.
