Emmanuel Macron: The electoral fraud in Moldova, Georgia and Romania shows us that our security and the proper functioning of our democracies are not always guaranteed

The electoral fraud in Moldova, Georgia and Romania shows us that our security and the proper functioning of our democracies are not always guaranteed. French President Emmanuel Macron said the above in his New Year's address.
The French President stressed the importance of European security.
"The wars in Ukraine and the Middle East are not distant conflicts. They concern us directly and threaten our security, our unity, our economy.
The recent events in Syria, the electoral fraud in Moldova, Georgia and Romania, the terrorist attacks in Europe and our neighborhood show us that our security and the proper functioning of our democracies are not always guaranteed. Europe can no longer delegate its security and defense to other forces," Macron said.
