Citizens form Chain of Unity in Tbilisi and various cities in Georgia

A Chain of Unity has been formed in Tbilisi and various cities in Georgia.

Georgian citizens have tied the Chain of Unity across the country, expressing their support for the country’s European choice.

Citizens in the Chain of Unity carry the flags of Georgia and the European Union.

Citizens from all over the country joined the human chain from 15:00.

For information, the citizens' protest followed the November 28 statement of Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, according to which a decision was made not to put the issue of opening negotiations with the European Union on the agenda until the end of 2028. The main demands of the protest participants remain unchanged - to schedule new elections and release those detained during the protests.
