The so-called parliament of the occupied Abkhazia supported the resignation of the so-called president Aslan Bzhania, Russian media reports.

According to their information, 28 so-called deputies supported Bzhania's resignation by secret ballot, one voted against it, and two ballots were declared invalid.

Before that, it became known that representatives of the so-called government and opposition of occupied Abkhazia signed an agreement after negotiations, according to which the so-called president, Aslan Bzhania, agreed to resign from his "position". According to the agreement, Bzhania's duties will be fulfilled by the so-called vice-president Badra Gunba. The so-called prime minister, Alexander Ankvabi, is also leaving his post, and his duties will be fulfilled by the former "prime minister" Valery Bganba. In addition, the agreement stipulates that the participants of the protest must leave the so-called government buildings of Abkhazia today.

Let us remind you that the confrontation between the so-called government of occupied Abkhazia and the opposition started due to the investment agreement with Russia, which provides for the construction of apartments in occupied Abkhazia. The so-called parliament was supposed to ratify the "document" on November 15, however, the discussion of the issue was postponed due to the start of protests. Opposition supporters occupied the so-called government buildings in Sokhumi, including the so-called presidential administration, and demanded the resignation of Aslan Bzhania.
