Kakha Bukhradze: Many messages from the local population have come through 112, people were asking for the road to be cleaned, they could not go to work - the road was artificially blocked, there were not enough people to paralyze the city

Many messages have been received through 112 - people asked to clear the road. This road was paralyzed for two days. People could not go to work, - said the deputy head of the patrol police, Kakha Bukhradze, explaining why the police started to disperse the peaceful protesters.
According to him, the number of participants of the rally is not enough to block the road.
"Many messages have been received through 112. Check it out. I cannot tell you the number, but there are many. In my opinion, at least 50-100. People demanded to clear the road, it was paralyzed for two days. People could not go to work. We protect the rights of all, both these people and citizens. We arrived and explained to them that both we and the representatives of the City Hall gave them a reasonable time to vacate the said area. Of course, [the road] was artificially blocked. There were not enough people to block the road, not enough to paralyze the city," said Kakha Bukhradze in an interview with "TV Pirveli".
