The leader of the opposition of occupied Abkhazia: if the government does not release the detainees, the Kodori bridge will be blocked again

Government representatives gave us guarantees that the arrested political activists would be released within an hour and a half, so the Kodori bridge was temporarily unblocked, one of the leaders of the so-called "opposition" of occupied Abkhazia, Adgur Ardzinba, told the Russian media.
According to him, if the government does not fulfill its promises, the bridge will be blocked again.
"If the promise is not fulfilled, the residents of Adziubzha village are going to block it again," said Ardzinba.
The information about the unblocking of the bridge was also confirmed by the secretary of the so-called Security Council of occupied Abkhazia, Raul Lolua.
"The Kodori bridge has been unblocked, traffic on it has been restored after negotiations between the head of the board and the participants of the protest," Lolua said while talking to the media.
Until now, two bridges remain closed - Zemo Gumista and Kvemo Gumista bridges.
A wave of protests in occupied Abkhazia resulted in the arrest of several opposition representatives who oppose the ratification of the investment agreement with Russia. Protesters blocked all three bridges of Sukhumi. We are talking about Kvemo and Zemo Gumista and Kodori bridges. The so-called president, Aslan Bzhania, held an emergency meeting of the Security Council in connection with the created situation, at which the heads of the security forces "discussed the measures taken to prevent illegal actions."
