Russia and the occupied Abkhazia signed an agreement that allows Russian companies to implement investment projects in the occupied Abkhazia, the Radio Liberty project "Echo Caucasus" reports.

According to the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, the agreement defines the rights and obligations of the parties and establishes supporting measures for legal entities engaged in investment activities in occupied Abkhazia.

The so-called Minister of Economy of the occupied Abkhazia, Christina Ozgan, and the Minister of Economic Development of Russia, Maxim Reshetnikov, signed the agreement in Moscow.

Let us remind you that Moscow suspended the financing of the budget of the occupied Abkhazia from September 1, with the request of the so-called parliament to approve the mentioned agreement.
