Maria Zakharova: USA threatened Georgia with "subsequent consequences" - next station "Neocolonialism"

The official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, responds to the statement of the spokesperson of the US State Department, Matthew Miller, according to which the USA does not rule out further consequences if the direction of the Georgian government does not change.
"The United States has threatened Georgia with "subsequent consequences" if its government does not change its course. This was announced by Matthew Miller, the head of the press service of the US State Department. Democracy, sir, here we come. The next station is "neocolonialism", Zakharova wrote on the "Telegram" channel.
As a reminder, the US State Department spokesperson, Matthew Miller, said at a briefing yesterday that the Georgian government can return to the path of democratic development by upholding the rule of law, eliminating flaws in the election process, repealing anti-democratic legislation and making significant efforts to implement recommendations on reforms for joining the European Union.
"During the current year, we constantly call on the Georgian authorities to abandon anti-democratic actions and return to the Euro-Atlantic path. We do not rule out further consequences if the direction of the Georgian government does not change," said Miller.
