As of September 30, 2024, there are 4,562,181 Georgian citizens with active address registration in Georgia.

"Girchi" deputy Aleksandre Rakviashvili addressed the parliamentary question about the total number of Georgian citizens living in the territory of Georgia to the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.

As mentioned in the answer to the parliamentary question from the "State Services Development Agency", 3,604,188 of the citizens of Georgia with an active address registration in Georgia are adults, and 957,993 are minors.

"We inform you that based on the electronic database of the Agency, as of September 30, 2024, 4,562,181 Georgian citizens have active registration at their address in Georgia (including 3,604,188 adults, 957,993 minors). At the same time, I would like to inform you that the agency, within its competence, does not have information about how many of these persons are permanent residents in Georgia", - the document states.
