On September 11, mock voting will be held at 598 polling stations across the country

The election administration will implement another large-scale project within the framework of the information campaign regarding electronic elections. The information is disseminated by the CEC.
According to their reports, on September 11, mock voting will be held in 598 polling stations across the country, including in regions inhabited by ethnic minorities, and any voter will be able to participate in it.
"The purpose of the event is to inform voters about the use of election technologies and to develop practical skills of voting procedures.
Voters will personally get to know the operation of verification and vote counting machines. The election officials will explain the registration procedure to the interested persons, they will also go through the voting procedures themselves - coloring a test circle on the ballot at the registrar's table, coloring a circle on the ballot in the secret voting booth, placing the ballot in a frame-envelope to ensure secrecy, placing the ballot in the vote counting machine (box).
On September 11, the process of mock voting will start from 11:00 and will continue until 18:00. The list of election precincts, where mock voting will be held, according to electoral districts, is available on the link: https://cesko.ge/static/file/202409085742-imitacia.pdf
The election administration encourages voters to take advantage of another opportunity to improve their practical skills in voting procedures, participate in mock voting and get to know election technology in person.
We remind you that as a result of the election reform implemented in Georgia, the next and all subsequent elections of the Parliament will be held using election technologies. On October 26, almost 90% of voters will participate in the elections using electoral technologies. Voter verification (registration) and voting procedures are changing. Accordingly, informing and educating voters about technological innovations is one of the main priorities of the election administration.
A large-scale information campaign, which also echoes international standards and recommendations, was launched by the election administration a year and a half before the general elections. Demonstrations of election technologies are being held gradually throughout the country in crowded places, in public and private structures. It should be noted that more than half a million voters have been informed so far," the information stated.
