On August 6, customs control procedures at the customs checkpoint "Kazbegi" will be temporarily suspended

On August 6, from 05:00 to 10:00, due to ongoing technical works (regarding the renewal of the new automatic backup electrical distribution network), customs control procedures at the "Kazbegi" customs checkpoint will be temporarily suspended. The Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance provides information about this.

According to the agency, the import and export of goods at the customs border of Georgia, as well as the customs control procedures for natural persons crossing the state border through the said customs checkpoint, cannot be carried out.

"During the mentioned period of time, passenger traffic (passport control and customs procedures) will be suspended in both directions through the border crossing point "Dariali".

As soon as the rehabilitation works are completed, the customs checkpoint "Kazbegi" will continue to work as usual, 24/7, at full capacity. Accordingly, the transportation of passengers and cargo will be carried out smoothly," the information says.
