The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia has warned Russian citizens about the security risks in occupied Abkhazia

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia has warned Russian citizens about the security risks in occupied Abkhazia.
"Citizen of Abkhazia E.G. Abukhba, who committed a serious crime against a Russian tourist in 2019, was released after the sentence was reduced by the decision of the Supreme Court of this country," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia announced.
"This testifies to the very lenient attitude of Abkhazian justice towards the crimes committed on the territory of the republic and the punishment imposed on the criminals.
"Obviously, this creates security risks for the large number of foreign guests who come to the resorts of Abkhazia every year, about which we are forced to warn our compatriots," said the statement of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
For information, the speech is about the rape and robbery of a Russian woman. The crime occurred on July 31, 2019.
