At the session of GNERC, the issue of changing the electricity consumer tariff will be discussed

At the meeting of the National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission of Georgia, the issue of changing the electricity consumer tariff is discussed.

As GNERC chairman Davit Narmania stated at the meeting, taking into account the economic and tariff-setting parameters, the commission considered it expedient to adjust the electricity tariffs.

At the session, the relevant departments of GNERC will present the issue of tariff calculation, which will then be discussed by the commission.

"The commission is looking at the economic and tariff setting parameters and there is a need to revise the tariffs. The commission considered it appropriate to adjust the electricity tariffs, which we call the consumer tariff. The relevant task was given to the Department of Tariffs and Economic Analysis. They present a calculation and the commission will discuss it," said Davit Narmania.
