Weather expected to worsen from December 23 in Georgia

According to the National Environment Agency, from the second half of the day of December 23 to December 26, complications of meteorological conditions are expected in Georgia, in particular: rain, strong wind in some places, heavy snow in the mountains and high mountains, fog, blizzard and danger of avalanches, a strong storm of up to 6 points is expected at sea.

According to the Agency, it is possible to limit traffic on certain sections of highways due to heavy snowfall, poor visibility, blizzard, and danger of avalanches.

"The expected heavy precipitations on the rivers of Western Georgia may cause a significant increase in water levels, and in the hilly areas, landslides may be activated", - reads the information.
