So-called minister of foreign affairs of occupied Abkhazia arrives in Syria

Inal Ardzinba, the so-called minister of foreign affairs of occupied Abkhazia, arrived in Syria. According to the media center of the so-called ministry of foreign affairs, it is planned to discuss "international and bilateral - Abkhaz-Syrian - agenda issues" during the "visit".

Ardzinba, together with the brigadier generals of the Syrian Ministry of Defence, visited the memorial of the unknown soldier in Damascus and paid tribute to the memory of Syrian heroes.

Inal Ardzinba also visited the Syrian Military Museum and left a note in the commemorative book.

The Syrian Arab Republic recognized the so-called independence of the occupied regions of Georgia, Abkhazia and Tskhinvali, in May 2018. On October 6, 2020, the so-called "embassy of Abkhazia" was opened in Damascus. In May 2021, the so-called president of Abkhazia Aslan Bzhania visited Syria.
