Sergey Lavrov: All the actions of the current government of Georgia are based on national interests - this gives the possibility to believe that the "3+3" format will be fully formed in the near future

Everyone agrees that the door of the "3+3" format is open for Georgia. We understand why the Georgian government refrains from joining the "six", Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in Tehran.

"We appreciate the fact that Tbilisi reserves the chance to make this decision in the future. In any case, all the actions of the current government of Georgia are based on fundamental national interests, which has been proven many times. This gives an opportunity to believe that in the near future the "3+3" format will be fully formed," said Lavrov.

For information, the Georgian delegation did not attend the "3+3" format meeting held in Tehran yesterday.
