Thanks to our defence from Russian aggression, new perspectives will be opened for Georgia to restore its territorial integrity, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said during a remote participation at the Joint Expeditionary Force Summit in Sweden.

"New security perspectives will emerge in the Black Sea region thanks to the changes in the South Caucasus. This will give our common security a potential here, in our part of Europe. Especially when, thanks to our defence from Russian aggression, new perspectives will be opened for Georgia to restore its territorial integrity," Zelensky said.

The President of Ukraine called the current situation a "historic crossroad".

"There are only two options: either terrorist Russia will succeed in breaking freedom, and then the zone of geopolitical instability that exists in the east of Europe will spread across our continent, or through many levels and formats of cooperation, namely regional, with our common protection of freedom, Russia will be defeated. And when he is defeated, the result will be a historic opportunity for geopolitical stability along the entire line, from Scandinavia through Minsk and Kyiv to the South Caucasus," Zelensky said.
