In occupied Abkhazia, from August 1, persons who dress inappropriately in public gathering places will be fined, local media reports.

"I hope that tourists will follow the provisions of the law. Our goal is not to penalize, but simply to require that people dress appropriately. I hope that through information, this legal norm will influence our citizens and guests, and they will follow elementary rules", said the so-called member of the "parliament" Daut Khutaba in a conversation with the local media.

On June 8, the so-called deputies made changes to the "code of administrative offenses", according to which tourists who appear in the streets, squares, parks with a naked body or a swimsuit will be fined 6 thousand rubles. Local residents are also prohibited from appearing inappropriately in public gathering places.
