The head of the medical department of the Special Penitentiary Service, Malkhaz Urtkhmelidze, called on convict Mikheil Saakashvili to take into account the request of the medical staff and fulfill their recommendations.

"We would like to state once again that convict Mikheil Saakashvili still does not follow the treatment recommendations given by the doctors, he refuses to take medicines and receive medical manipulations. Once again, we call upon Mikheil Saakashvili, based on his own interests, to take into account the request of the doctors and fulfill their recommendations," said Malkhaz Urtkhmelidze.

As for the participation of Polish doctors in the treatment process of Mikheil Saakashvili, according to Malkhaz Urtkhmelidze, the Special Penitentiary Service has not yet received complete documentation.
