Aluda Ghudushauri: Maria Zakharova’s statements are immoral and a lifeline to the radical opposition

I would advise Zakharova to somehow remember the reality and she’d better answer when her country is going to fulfill its obligations towards Georgia, the member of the parliamentary majority, Aluda Ghudushauri, responded to the statement of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova. Ghudushauri also responded to the opposition's criticism of Georgian Dream policy regarding Russia and noted that the statements of Russian representatives are a lifeline to the opposition.

"We can even mention Maria Zakharova and the radical opposition as one cluster. Their statements, be it Zakharova or the opposition, are completely frivolous, and be it Zakharova, the opposition or others, I remind them that Russia has violated its obligations and all clauses of the agreement and it must fulfill them. There are also the decisions of The Hague and Strasbourg, which are historic for our country and show even more support and a firm position in relation to the sovereignty of Georgia. Accordingly, I would advise Zakharova to somehow remember the reality and she’d better give an answer to how and when her country is going to fulfill its obligations towards Georgia. I don't know how serious Zakharova's statements are to you, but to me her statements are immoral and are made by ignoring the facts. Georgia has a strong position in this regard. Her country is the occupier of our country and has obligations to fulfill," said Ghudushauri.

The remarks come after the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Maria Zakharova, stated that Russia demands from Georgia "binding agreements on the non-use of force" and states that this is a guarantee of stability in the region.
