Sergey Lavrov: Our goal is to promote the work of the 3+3 consultative regional platform

We remain committed to existing and emerging multilateral negotiation formats. We are ready to continue constructive interaction on the issue of security and stability in the South Caucasus within the framework of international negotiations in Geneva, which will ensure a direct and equal dialogue between Georgia and Abkhazia and South Ossetia, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, Sergey Lavrov.
According to him, Russia's goal is to promote the work of the 3+3 consultative regional platform, which is considered a useful and timely platform.
"Our goal is to promote the work of the 3+3 consultative regional platform (Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, as well as Russia, Iran, and Turkey) that started in December 2021. We consider this platform, where it is planned to focus on practical issues of strengthening cooperation based on the interests of regional players, useful and timely," Lavrov said.
